After the battle ends against Liza Nakpil in the controversy about the registration of 'Rivermayas" trademark, the bands proves that they are still the "Banda ng Bayan" with their new album "Closest Thing to heaven". Yah their on their way closest to heaven with a new album having 10 "Astig" tracks.

Listen to "Ambotsa" and you'll be hook up with the bisayan lyrics "Ambot sa imo" which means "I Don't Know About You" in English, the song "Mulat" will proves that even they currently changed their lineups, they are still the Rivermaya we know for decades with the song's "PANGMASA" lyrics talking about a farmers life in the farm.
"Ongano" will make you sung "Walang mahirap na gawa kung alam mo ang 'yung ginagawa" unconsciously, the song reminds me of the "Apo Hiking Society" style in making verses.
All in all the album was great, worth buying for....Kudus to Rivermaya.....You Rock!!!!
